Multi-tasking is hard. And honestly, I'm not good at it (though FYI, for any future employers, it is something I'm working on, and improving surely but steadily).

I'm currently sick, and I've got a midsession exam tomorrow, a midsession exam on Saturday, a midsession exam next Friday, and two huge assignments due soon after.

So everything has been clumsily shoved aside... for now.

Just popping in to say, I've got a cold, and my mum's a fan of nose bidets. I've found out the hard way that all the passages inside the head are interconnected. Sometimes, things that are meant to go in one nostril and out the other nostril end up in the mouth, eyes and ears. Lovely. Probably TMI.

My mum also believes in treating colds with hayfever medication. There's... apparently logic in that.

I don't suppose I have any med students on my flist? I'm currently feeling bizarre.

Is that the actual greeting? Happy Easter? I've been saying that to people, but I've noticed they don't say it back. Because most likely Easter isn't meant to be 'happy' and all, since it is the occasion of Christ's death, etc. I attended a Christian primary school, from kindi to grade 2. All I remember is that Easter involves going to church, and watching the older kids do Easter role plays.

My grandmother is very ill, and there's a high liklihood I'll be going back to Hong Kong in late June to visit her. I'm not sure what to think about this, so I'll sit on the thought for now.

Anyway, it's really hitting me now, how it's my penultimate year of university, and golly, I have to be looking for a job next year! It's a common sight around uni to see the 2010 graduates running around, stressing about how X big company still hasn't replied yet, or how Y company has flat out rejected them. Not to mention that there's the matter of internships. I'm passing the March applications, and thinking ahead to the July/August ones.

But the all those graduate information evenings are really fun (yes, fun) to attend. Not the least because this isn't full serious for me this year, and I'm just there for the free food (mmm, canapes) freebies (hey, I'm a sucker for pens. and paper clips. and stress balls. Bring on those stress balls). I'll schmooze next year, when I have to. :)

Three times is damn stupid...

Mar. 6th, 2010 | 12:56 pm

Yup. Just at home, chilling out and freaking out about how I managed to screw up the workplace printer/scanner three times. Three. Paper jams, ALL THREE.

I mean, you'd think I learned better after the FIRST time.

My life is super exciting, as you can tell.
